EXISTING SITE CONDITIONS DIAGRAMS

These diagrams serve as critical planning tools for the Clinton Road Phase Two project, illustrating key considerations for zoning, typology, settlement, and environmental impacts. They explore the natural topography of the site, providing insights into how the slope and natural vegetation inform the design decisions. The zoning conditions diagram ensures compliance with local regulations, while the typology and settlement diagrams optimize building placement to reduce site disruption. Lastly, the environmental study highlights sun path analysis to maximize natural light exposure, enhancing the spatial experience for future residents.

RESIDENCE FIVE AND SIX

Phase Two of the Clinton Road development expands on the successful design established in Phase One by introducing multi-family homes on Lots 5 and 6. These two-floor residences, built into the natural slope of the 3-acre property, offer a unique living experience. The journey from the front entrance at grade level to the expansive rear deck creates a sense of elevation, with the outdoor space appearing to hover over the surrounding forest.

Inside, the homes feature a thoughtfully designed layout that transitions smoothly from the foyer and dining area into an open-concept kitchen and living room, which opens onto the deck. Upstairs, two well-sized bedrooms share a bathroom, while the master suite enjoys privacy, direct access to a balcony, and ample natural light. Each home is filled with soft, ambient light thanks to strategically positioned windows throughout, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Energy efficiency is prioritized with passive shading devices at the front, complementing the stud walls and porch cover to maintain comfort while reducing energy consumption. The design captures a balance between functional living spaces and an organic connection to the natural surroundings, making these homes ideal for family living while embracing sustainable building practices.

The exterior facade of the Clinton Road Phase Two homes showcases a modern minimalist style, using natural tones and clean lines to create harmony with the surrounding forested environment. The fiber cement siding panels, with their light wood-like finish, blend seamlessly into the backdrop of trees, giving the homes a treehouse-like effect. The symmetry and simplicity of the form, complemented by deep overhangs and black window frames, allow the architecture to recede into nature, enhancing the sense of privacy and tranquility. This thoughtful design ensures the homes not only connect with their surroundings but also provide a serene, elevated living experience.
